December 2015: ECONADAPT at the Paris UN Climate Conference (COP21)

ECONADAPT team members gave a presentation at the ECONADAPT side event at COP21/CMP11 in Paris.

Dr. Josselin Rouillard, Fellow at Ecologic Institute, together with Dr. Alistair Hunt from the University of Bath, gave an overview of the EU-funded ECONADAPT research project on the Economics of Adaptation including methodological developments and case studies on key areas of EU decision-making – economic project appraisal, policy appraisal, identifying macro-economic effects, overseas development aid and disaster risk management. The results of the review on the costs and benefits of adaptation were presented including an overview of evidence, lessons and policy insights.

The ECONADAPT side event was part of the series of events at the European Pavilion of COP21/CMP11 focusing on resilience.
