May 2015: Joint policy sessions at the European Climate Change Adaptation (ECCA2015) Conference in Copenhagen with the OECD

ECONADAPT team members co-hosted two sessions. The first – with OECD - was on “Adapting to a Changing Climate: The Role for Economic Analysis in Policy” and included an updated presentation (Paul Watkiss) on the review on the Cost and Benefits of Adaptation: Evidence, Lessons and Policy Insights in OECD countries (WP1). A second joint session was run with other FP7 projects – ENHANCE and STAR-FLOOD – on Managing flood risk in the EU (linked to WP5 and 6). Dr Alistair Hunt’s talk was titled “The Economics of Adaptation to Climate Change.

The conference was also aligned to the publication of an OECD book, co-produced with the ECONADAPT project on Climate Change Risks and Adaptation: Linking Policy and Economics. The book is available for download: - follow this link to the OECD website for more details.
